Sold Out Book signing at Book A Million at Concord Mills North Carolina
Hello Again!
I did a book signing at Concord Mills Books A Million in North Carolina on Saturday and fortunately, we sold out. When I signed my last two books, From My Front Porch & Sinners Never Sleep, there were still others around the table who wanted to buy books from me. I am so appreciative of all the love that was shows me in North Carolina and I will be calling as the manager requested to do another signing real soon.
So often I have had to cancel book signing events because of Mama's illness but God is good. He allows me to do well every time I am able to do an event and I am truly grateful. And, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you who love and support me. Thank you and I love you all right back.
Blessings to you all.

Mama is fiesty but book signings are going great
Hello, hello, hello,
I hope you all are well. Mama and I are great when she isn't fighting or just being fiesty. Whatever, she is still the love of her children's lives. It is time for me to put her to bed for the night but wanted to tell you all how well my book signing went today. I did a signing at Books A Million, Northwoods Mall in North Charleston and it went extremely well. The store is having their major book sales this and next week and they asked me to come back this coming weekend but no can do because I have something else scheduled. I graciously thanked them for being so generous to me, allowing or asking me to come in to their store so regularly to do signings. The stores are great to me and I appreciate it so much.
Good night all. I'm putting Mama to bed and I think I'm gonna put myself to bed as well. Thank a thousand times over for all your support of me. I love you all.
Blessings.

A Beautiful Mother's Day for Mama and I
Hello All,
My mother and I had a wonderful Mother's Day. We got cards, gifts and flowers. My brother, Robert and his wife, Lillie gave Mama a beautiful bouquet of white roses, they gave me a gift package of body logion and shower gel. Beautiful. My brother, Jerry and his wife, Doritha gave me a beautiful card. The card company did an appropriately beautiful job on the imprinted portion of the card, but when my brother wrote, 'thank you for being the mother to our sisters, brothers and our parents,' I completely lost it. Tears flowed. I would trade my family for all the tea in China. Meaning, I wouldn't take anything for them.
To those of you who have read my books, From My Front Porch and sequel, Sinners Never Sleep, I want to thank you so much for your support, and I hope you have enjoyed them.
One of my upcoming books is LOOKING FOR MR. TONIGHT. I would appreciate your continued support so please be on the look out for my upcoming books.
My book signing at Books A Million in Charleston this past Saturday went very well. It amazes me the generousity of people. As I was doing a book signing, one customer, a lady who owns a boutique, was buying two sets of my novels, Front Porch and Sinners. I mentioned that I had done a book signing at a boutique in Florence a few times and how well it went. She thought it was a good idea, then she purchased an additional 10 copies of each book which brought her total purchase to 24 books. I thanked her perfusely and I went out to my car and brought her several free copies of a book of short romantic stories, Champagne Dreams & Chocolate Kisses, that I wrote under my birth name, Minnie Dix and gave to her.
I got to get back to writing. Take care my friends and be blessed.

A Beautiful Sunday Afternoon to Run Errands Or Just Relax
Hello out there,
Well, it's Sunday again and my time to spend several hours away from home to either go shopping, a drive, visit Swan Lake or whatever I want to do. Two of my brothers, Jerry and Robert, came in and took care of Mama after church today while I took some Minnie/Leigh time. When I returned home, Mama was asleep and only one brother was here. Those boys are manning up. They don't like to be here with Mama alone--simply put, one can't handle her alone.
Still relishing in the fact that my book signings over the weekend went very well. I did BookAMillion in Florence Friday afternoon and BooksAMillion in Northwoods Mall in Charleston on Saturday. I signed my books, From My Front Porch and the sequel, Sinners Never Sleep. Thanks to each and everyone of you who came out and supported me. I take nothing for granted and I love you all dearly. Until next time, Blessings to you all.

Book signings at Books A Million in Florence and Charleston
Here I go again; Often times, due to family situations, I do book signings at the spur of the moment. The stores are so gracious to me, they always keep plenty of my books on hand so that if I want to do a signing of my two books, From My Front Porch and sequel Sinners Never Sleep, I can call only days in advance and they will have me come in and do a signing. I can't thank the few stores that I do go to, enough. They even encourage customers to purchase my books when I am not there. It doesn't get any better than that.
I did a repeat signing at BAM in Florence again this Friday night and it went well. I alwo did a signing in Charleston at BAM in the Northwoods Mall. Charleston always goes well. Many thanks to all the wonderful people who support me. I simply couldn't do it without so much support. Thank God and thank you too.
For those of you who are not familiar with my books, please go out or go online and purchase From My Front Porch and Sinners Never SLeep. I would appreciate it very much.
Mama and I are going to bed now. Have a good night you all and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Book Signings in Florence, SC at Books A Million and Barnes & Noble
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to drop a note to say I did two book signings this past weekend(both in Florence, SC. The books are From My Front Porch and the sequel, Sinners Never Sleep. I was at Books A Million on Friday and though I didn't sell as many books as I normally do at that store, I sold several dozens at Barnes & Noble on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised that I got to meet several of my Facebook friends and their families and one of the reviewers for Rawsistaz. They were all very nice and we had wonderful talks and some of them bought books which I appreciated very much.
I took my Mama with me both days over the weekend and though I believe she got a little tired on Saturday, I could tell she was enjoying riding around in the wheel chair enjoying seeing all the people while her sitter shopped. I just want to say how accommodating the stores are with me. They don't have a problem with how long I stay. If I want to leave for a minute just to check on Mama, they don't have a problem with that. And, the nice thing is that they allows me to come whenever I want to.
I just want to thank everyone who supports me, come out and ask questions about publishing or just to talk. I enjoy it all and feel priviledge that God has put so many wonderful people in my life. Thanks to you all and I love you.

Beautiful trip to Charleston along with my mother and her sitter for my book signing at Books A Million
Hello all,
My mother and her sitter accompanied me to my book signing at Books A Million in Charleston today and it was so special having her there. We took her wheel chair and she was able to go with the sitter and shopped while I met new people, reacquainted myself with some old friends and signed some books.
There is a number of events going on in Charleston this weekend so the mall wasn't very crowded, but I did pretty well and I was grateful for the wonderful people who supported me and to the ones who said they would at a later time.
The two books that I am promoting are From My Front Porch and Sinners Never Sleep. Not only are these book wonderful, enjoyable reads, they also make wonderful gifts. Don't forget Mother's Day is coming up soon so this would make a terrific gife for all the women in your life and it is very easy shopping.Love to you all until we meet again. Blessings.

Book Signing at Books A Million/Village at Sand Hill
Hello to all you bloggers out there.
I haven't been out here for a while now. Had root canal done and was out of it for a bit but I'm on the move again. I did a book signing today at Books A Million/Village at Sand Hill and I sold all but several copies of my novel, From My Front Porch, and we sold out the sequel, Sinners Never Sleep. In additional to having former co-workers, new and old friends come out and supported me at this event, one friend whom I met several weeks ago who bought only Sinners because that was the only title we had, she went to another book store and bought Front Porch. She sent me a nice e-mail telling me how much she loved my books and she came with her family to my book signing today and bought two additional sets of my books. Marsha is wonderful and I love her. What a friend she is.
I've got other book signings coming up this week: Friday, Books A Million/Northwoods Mall/Charleston and Saturday, Books A Million/Harbison/Columbia. Please come out and join me and let's get to know each other. Also, I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported and cared about me and my mother and always ask about her. You guys are great and I love you all. Blessings to you all.

Book Signing in Fayetteville, NC at Books A Million
Hello everyone,
I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out to join me at my book signing yesterday at Books A Million in Fayetteville, NC. I signed my novels, From My Front Porch and the sequel, Sinners Never Sleep. It went amazingly well and I can't thank you enough. There were many highlites. Not only did I have customers buying 2 books, but some bought 6 and even 8 which I was extremely grateful, but one person who supported me her husband's older brother is married to one of my first cousins and to top that, my brother and his wife were at a family reunion meeting with that first cousin and her husband of the person who bought books from me. How weird was that. Small world even. Later everyone until next time. Blessings to you always. Mama and I are going to play around with some checkers. Again, many thanks to every one.
