2 great book signings this weekend, my nephew, Chris McKnight from ATL visits, Boston Celtics wins Eastern Division

Hello All,
It's been a minute since I've blogged. I did book signings at Books A Million stores on Friday(Charleston-Northwoods Mall) and Fayetteville and both went well. I signed my two most recent books, From My Front Porch and sequel, Sinners Never Sleep. I hear they are great books. Please get a copy...:) and tellme what you think.

My favorite team in the NBA is the Boston Celtics (favorite player is Shaq/Cavs) won the Eastern Division. I am so happy about that. Now, I hope they put it to the Lakers.

My naphew, Chris McKnight is visiting Mama and I. He lives in ATL. Our talks are wonderful as we are reliving long ago when he and his family returned from overseas and lived here until they bought a home. It was great and I miss them from being here but hey everyone is grown now. I enjoy his visits.

Got to go and check on Mama. Once again, please go out or order online my books, From My Front Porch and Sinners Never Sleep. The books will not disappoint. Thank you so much and be blessed.

A Beautiful Mother's Day for Mama and I

Hello All,
My mother and I had a wonderful Mother's Day. We got cards, gifts and flowers. My brother, Robert and his wife, Lillie gave Mama a beautiful bouquet of white roses, they gave me a gift package of body logion and shower gel. Beautiful. My brother, Jerry and his wife, Doritha gave me a beautiful card. The card company did an appropriately beautiful job on the imprinted portion of the card, but when my brother wrote, 'thank you for being the mother to our sisters, brothers and our parents,' I completely lost it. Tears flowed. I would trade my family for all the tea in China. Meaning, I wouldn't take anything for them.

To those of you who have read my books, From My Front Porch and sequel, Sinners Never Sleep, I want to thank you so much for your support, and I hope you have enjoyed them.

One of my upcoming books is LOOKING FOR MR. TONIGHT. I would appreciate your continued support so please be on the look out for my upcoming books.

My book signing at Books A Million in Charleston this past Saturday went very well. It amazes me the generousity of people. As I was doing a book signing, one customer, a lady who owns a boutique, was buying two sets of my novels, Front Porch and Sinners. I mentioned that I had done a book signing at a boutique in Florence a few times and how well it went. She thought it was a good idea, then she purchased an additional 10 copies of each book which brought her total purchase to 24 books. I thanked her perfusely and I went out to my car and brought her several free copies of a book of short romantic stories, Champagne Dreams & Chocolate Kisses, that I wrote under my birth name, Minnie Dix and gave to her.

I got to get back to writing. Take care my friends and be blessed.
